Just watching this reminds me of how animation could be more informative for children-- so they don't just grow out of cartoons. This inept and negligent "stupid is funny" routine cartoons adopt to make a quick laugh and a quick buck only hurts the next generation. Just because kids are young doesn't mean they can't learn responsible information, in fact, it is the best time.

The Mutoids plan to take over Quasar and use it as a base of operations. Zandor destroys the Mutoids' missile control system and the missiles explode, defeating the Mutoids.

The point was to not judge someone (especially with things like AIDS which was a huge issue back in the early 1990s since most people didn't understand it fully) without getting educated. Also at 7 or so, I got the gist of where babies came from. I probably understood the basics about AIDS, remember Magic Johnson had lots of kids as fans when he announced his HIV positive status.

Gaia is a spirit of Earth, which means all life is sacred to her, even the bad 1s. She wouldn't be a spirit if she used her powers to for killing. As for the other aspects: the Planeteers stating the obvious can be attributed to bad writing, and Captain Planet is the polar opposite of pollution. He's weak to pollution and pollution is weak to him. The polarization is emphasized later when Captain Pollution, or whatever, makes his appearance.
