Thanx for this video!! I allways wondered who the author of this phenomenal cat series was - now I know :-)) I want to tell him - it's sooo real, icredibly indeed. As we cat servants (we really are NOT their owners, hehe) know very well. And I alsowandered who it was who did the fanntastic "dubbing" of the videos, well I saw it now and I have to say that the sound is also PERFECT - I always felt a bit sorry no one ever mentioned it. Simon, you're great and I simply love your cat!!! :-)))))

Hi. I have to say that I am rarely impressed by anything on youtube, but I absolutely love your cartoons! 1) Good fielders don't start with their glove out in front of them. This restricts movement. They hold their gloves by their hip in a natural position. Go to a Major League Baseball game sometime. 2) Infielders don't ever squeeze their glove, except on backhands, some forehands, or on bad throws. As soon as the ball hits an infielder's glove the ball is switched to the throwing hand. 3) When you move to your left or right you start by stepping with the foot on the side of the ball. I don't mean to judge but I would recommend using gloves and not cutting at yourself. Any cut or open sore that comes in contact with the deers internals can make you really sick and never ever use a knife in that manner try staying to the side while doing something like that, away from the path of the knife. This will ultimately take longer but will make it safer for you while gutting a deer.

Over the years I've learned not to hose out a deer and to be very carful to not let anything touch the rump meat. It will spread bacteria that causes the meat to taste bad. I try to let the outer layer of meat dry up versus cleaning it. It protects the meat in transport and can be shaved of when skinning. Also, it's so easy to cut yourself on those rib bones. Bring along some vinyl gloves when hunting even if you have tough hands.

I think this was a primer on how to dress a deer. I do like the comments about hanging it up so that gravity will work in your favor. I suppose a tree and some paracord will get that done. Obviously u have never taken a gun course. You remove the magazine and pull the slide back, it locks into place, you look AND FEEL to make sure there is not a round chambered. Then u push the lever that releases the slide, dry fire in a safe direction, the trigger locks rearward and your safety check is complete. Have u ever fired a REAL gun?

Thank you for the field strip video here. I just got my Glenfield/Marlin Model 60 '74 about 2 weeks ago. I had a feeling it was rubbing metal on metal. With this video I completely field stripped it and cleaned the whole thing out. Its all oiled up and is working much better. Might do it one more time and use a better oil and grease to make it run like buttah Thanks again!

Great video! Quick question though. I took mine apart and when removing the bolt, inadvertently bend the recoil spring in 2 spots (dumb move, I know). @quacktackular Yeah, bent my recoil spring, too, the first time I disassembled it. I was able to straighten the spring with a pliers and it seems to work ok. If your spring is ruined, you can get a new one at Brownells online, part # 550-307-496.

you can never miss the protruding button (smaller) end should be the muzzle end and the rear of the spring into the assembly notch of the barrel lug (make sure it is properly centered). blue paint on spring most of M&P 9 others have yellow. either a color code for different caliber or a special wear & tear indicator not so sure.

No you don't have to use the back strap tool to take the gun down. You can use your finger( But I would never do so if you bump the slide your going to have one hell of a bad day) you can use a pen or even a stick. But the tool is just easy because it's there already on the gun so you don't have to search for a tool.

congrats on your new m&p .40! but of course you have to properly center your spring to the assembly notch of the barrel lug before reinserting slide each time. please don't tear yourself up it's no big deal...actually you really have to hold the take down lever DOWN while inserting slide until it is fully rearward then release take down lever before allowing slide to move forward to its closed position.

I have an M and P .40, and no matter how I try to reinsert the slide, I have to hold the take down lever or it will flip halfway, I know that the spring is seated properly. Does anybody think this is a problem? The gun functions flawlessly and disassembles fine and assembles fine as long as you hold the take down lever down. Any help is greatly appreciated.
